Review RAW service.

Postby Rezlo » 09 Jul 2010, 07:43

Hi guys,

It has been brought to my attention that my webstore is very confusing to place an order in with regards to shipping in that I only use a courier, the flat charge for depot delivery etc.

Please see the rant post about RAW: http://www.fordstownerssa.co.za/forums/ ... 0&start=75

As you can tell, the store has been put off line indefinitely till I can resolve this issue.

What I would like to do is run an opinion pole:
1= worst
5 = best

Copy the below and fill it in please, I would like to try resolve all my issues that could reflect badly on my business.

Parts prices:
Parts availability:
How easy is the webstore to use:
Have you experienced a “surprise” during the order process:
Have you ever been confused in the process of ordering:
How do you rate my correspondence:
How long does it take me to reply to emails vs the usual average expected:
Do you feel that the way the webstore was setup with regards to how the items ship to you being unfair or poorly planned:
Over all view as a customer of your total experience:

Please take the time, I will not be offended with a kak review as a kak review gives me the chance to improve the way my business runs

If you have other comments, please make them

You dont bullshit.
You reply to your emails quickly with good advise.
Your turnaround time is good and if there is a delay you let the person know.

I think everyone with agree with me on these statements and be very upset if you had to close your webstore. I have bought from you since 2006, not much but the service hasn't changed.

Parts prices: 5 Just to add to this, whilstsome of the parts in the store can be found slightly cheaper elsewhere, as it has been mentioned here many times, the customer service more than makes up for that (very tiny) premium.

Parts availability: 5 Parts I bought are either in stock, or arrive within a couple of days. When I waited for a big order to go in, I was kept up to date without asking.
How easy is the webstore to use: N/A Never used the web store.
Have you experienced a “surprise” during the order process: No

How do you rate my correspondence: 5
How long does it take me to reply to emails vs the usual average expected: 5
Do you feel that the way the webstore was setup with regards to how the items ship to you being unfair or poorly planned: N/A Can't comment due to never using webstore
Over all view as a customer of your total experience: With all the parts I have bought (new and 2nd hand), the process has been a pleasure. Personally, my only complaint is that those fancy Tomei parts that are now coming in are way out of my budget! :D

I have also sometimes requested prices on parts not in the webstore, and even parts not even performance car related, and all queries were dealt with swiftly and cordially.

The parts you sell are great quality and "exotic" if i might say, some of the BIG performance part stores have not even heard of some of the brand names you sell, especially with the new Tomei stuff that is coming.

Can't wait to deal with you again.

How easy is the webstore to use: 100 FFS if Brthnmpsy can use it, an ape can too :?
Have you experienced a “surprise” during the order process: 3 and this was NOT Ians fault, it was during the strike about a month back when all international items were delayed due to striking trans/portnet workers....
Have you ever been confused in the process of ordering: 5 WTF??? how doff can one be?? How is that webstore in anyway confusing??? :o
How do you rate my correspondence: 6/5 really, i didnt expect such quick replies!!!
How long does it take me to reply to emails vs the usual average expected: 5/5 I recall expecting a reply the evening of my query, when in fact a reply was forthcoming within 30 mins...
Do you feel that the way the webstore was setup with regards to how the items ship to you being unfair or poorly planned: no, quite fair i guess.
Over all view as a customer of your total experience: 9.9/10 from me... Ian we (Brthnmpsy and I were grossly dissapointed in the fact that the water meth tank did not have a Devils own sticker on it.. i mean ma, that alone is worth 30wkw's

Please take the time, I will not be offended with a kak review as a kak review gives me the chance to improve the way my business runs

If you have other comments, please make them

Other comments, Ian, you gotto accept crit now and then, immpecable as your service is, there'll always be ppl who crit it.
take it from whence it comes.... I deal with 5-20 queries a day  but i try to reply to everybody, no wait, i DO reply to everybody, cos frankly, it's my business to do so, sometimes replying to 20 sms's from one guy pays off in the long run, cos they become your best customer, other times u wasted all those replies and the guy doesnt even buy from you... such is life im afraid... such is life.
In closing... keep what you're doing up boet!!! your webstore is one of a kind in South Africa and is a great service to all of us, please dont let one or 2 complainants be the reason the rest of us suffer!!!!

Parts prices: 4 - Top Quality Parts come at a price, if you don't like it, drool, make your own or buy cheap shit. If you don't want to go thru the painfull experience of importing it yourself - pay the price, atleast it comes with good solid advice.

Parts availability: Have not ordered parts yet. Hope you keep Redline products in stock, will need that in a 2-4months time

How easy is the webstore to use: 4 - From browsing and drooling, it is good, a nice touch would be to mention on which SR motors the SR parts will fit. I'm very sceptical about what SR parts will fit the VE, but do not want to waste your time, as I'm only planning and doing research, not yet at the buying stage.

Have you experienced a “surprise” during the order process: No order place of yet

Have you ever been confused in the process of ordering: No order place of yet

How do you rate my correspondence: 5 - Good, have only received good to the point info.

How long does it take me to reply to emails vs the usual average expected: 5 - You do reply, all I need to say, the rest of the country suffers from BBC sindrome ( Born Before Computers)

Do you feel that the way the webstore was setup with regards to how the items ship to you being unfair or poorly planned: No order place of yet

Over all view as a customer of your total experience: 4 - Regarding info, satisfied, you give direct advice, which is better than a long ass story about why you should spend the cash on something that will give kak.

On a side note:
Me being a VE person and alot of ppl converting to them, it will be good to create a sub section for parts that work on these motors.
I'm offering to help with testing, I have done about 4years of Software Testing from a end user functional point of view and now specializes in Performance Testing.
Provide this forum members access to the webstore for testing purposes to pick up more bits and pieces that could help you eveluate the whole process, as I know it is running somewhere in the background with a different URL.
Don't find a problem, find a solution!!!!

Not just that.
My mother always told me you can go study to be whatever you like and get as much education but you are born with or without fucking common sense.

What Ian provides us is deeper than products he provides us with knowledge and sets an example of what the guys with extensive knowledge and experience in the industry should be doing. Doesnt matter if you drive a SX or BMX Ian will have some information that contributes positively to any plans or further any insight you already might have.
